Fire safety expo to be held Saturday in Frazier Park

The Kern County Fire Department will host a Wildfire Awareness Expo from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in Frazier Park.

The event will provide information on wildfire awareness, hazard reduction and emergency preparedness, according to a Kern County Fire Department news release.

Crews will display firefighting equipment and residents can meet the local wildland firefighters.

Free hot dogs, chips, drinks and children's educational materials will be offered, and Smokey Bear will be available for pictures.
