Bakersfield police are seeking two people suspected in the April 2 armed robbery at the Circle K store at 5600 Auburn St.

At 5:55 a.m. a white or Hispanic man entered the store, brandished a black semi-automatic firearm and demanded money, according to a news release. Failing to get any money, he fled the store and got into a waiting vehicle driven by a woman.

The vehicle is described as a blue or turquoise 2002 to 2005 Chevrolet S-10 extended-cab pickup.

The first suspect is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall with a thin build and short, dark, curly hair. He wore a black-and-yellow mask or bandana over his face.

The driver of the getaway vehicle was a white female in her 20s with blonde or brown hair.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to call Detective Paul Yoon at 326-3511 or the BPD at 327-7111.
