Two men sought for allegedly using gun in cellphone robberies

Bakersfield police are seeking two men wanted on suspicion of three armed robberies Wednesday morning.

The men allegedly robbed three people at gunpoint of their cellphones, according to a news release. The robberies occurred between 9:46 and 10:39 a.m. in the 400 block of K Street, the 1200 block of New Stine Road and the 2600 block of Brookside Drive.

The first suspect is described as a Hispanic man between 19 and 20 years old, clean-shaven, with short hair and wearing a black baseball cap.

The second suspect is described as a light-complexion black or Hispanic man, age 19 to 20, with short black hair. He wore a black-and-gray letterman jacket and held a black revolver.

They first suspect was driving a black Acura Integra with a rear spoiler and rear tinted windows.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to call Detective Todd Dickson at 326-3501 or the BPD at 327-7111.
