Downtown shooting: 1 wounded, 1 arrested

A shooting early Sunday in front of a downtown bar left one man wounded and a second under arrest.

Bakersfield police responded to reports of shot fired at the Ink Bar & Nightclub, 1919 K St., just just 1 a.m.

Officers found Troy Stewart, 25, of Bakersfield, suffering from a single gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

A short time later, Kern County Sheriff's deputies arrested Robert Graham, 48, of Bakersfield, in the 3500 block of Rosedale Highway. He was charged on suspicion of attempted homicide, being a felon in possession of a firearm and possession of cocaine.
