Authorities seek convicted child molester

    The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation is asking the public's assistance in locating Eryc Sutton, a parolee at large and high-risk registered sex offender. He was released from the Lerdo Detention Facility on June 13 and failed to report to his parole officer. He has a prior conviction for child molest. His last known address is in California City, according to a news release from the Kern County Sheriff's Office.

The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation is asking the public's assistance in locating Eryc Sutton, a parolee at large who has a prior conviction for child molestation.

Authorities described Sutton as a "high risk" registered sex offender. He was released from the Lerdo Detention Facility on June 13 and failed to report to his parole officer. Sutton's last known address is in California City.

If anyone has information on Sutton or his whereabouts they are asked to contact the Bakersfield parole office at 661-634-9620, the Kern County Sheriff's Office at 661-861-3110, or Secret Witness at 661-322-4040.
