Bakersfield firefighters are investigating the cause of a Tuesday night garage fire that caused $25,000 in damage and left a firefighter injured.
It happened at 10:36 p.m. in the 130 block of South King Street. Crews arrived to find heavy fire showing from the garage, and using multiple hose lines brought the fire under control in 10 minutes, a Bakersfield Fire Department news release said.
Firefighters estimated they saved property worth $65,000.
One firefighter suffered a laceration to his left arm from a broken shard of glass, the news release said.
