Suspect wanted in connection with robbery, shooting

About 11:30 p.m. Oct. 31, a man approached a victim in the area of Ridgedale Street and Le Conte Avenue in east Bakersfield and demanded the victim's wallet and the keys to his vehicle.
The suspect obtained the victim's keys but was not able to get his wallet. The suspect then ran and the victim chased him, at which time the suspect shot the victim.
The suspect then left in a light blue possible Honda Civic.
The suspect is described as Hispanic, 6 feet to 6 feet 1 inch tall, 220 pounds, wearing a blue beanie cap and white T-shirt.
