Super Bowl ads, chemtrails and trains on Bakersfield Today

BY LOUIS AMESTOY Californian staff writer lamestoy@bakersfield.com

It's a full day on Bakersfield Today with plenty to discuss including the big winners from the Super Bowl, and we're not talking about the New York Giants.

Two stories driving traffic have been one about possible firms building key parts of California's controversial high-speed rail project and Lois Henry's column about the death of a logger near Tehachapi. Henry's column was not only driving a lot of page views, but a lot of pointed comments about the state of emergency services in Kern County.

We also delve into our fascination with posting YouTube videos of trains and "chemtrails." We also take a look at a drumline competition at North High School.
