Condoms driving the discussion on Bakersfield Today

The Bakersfield Californian's page one story on a state plan to send condoms to teenagers, who request them, through the mail is generating plenty of buzz on our web pages and on Facebook.
So, intrepid hosts Louis Amestoy and Jamie Butow highlight some of the more interesting comments on the day, and Jamie points out that Facebook commenters seem to take a more liberal stance while those on bakersfieldcalifornian.com take one that is slightly more conservative.
In others matters, we also debate Bakersfield's choice of music shows -- The Voice vs. American Idol. It appears, at least according to our Facebook crowd, that The Voice is the show of preference.
