It's tough to leave the comforts of your air-conditioned home, but a couple of restaurants are hoping to tempt you to dine out.
Local Italian restaurant Frugatti's offers Laid Back Tuesdays (for Tuesdays in August), a deal for two diners. For $29.99, share a specialty pizza (any except Nonni's pizza napolitano) along with two salads and split a dessert (any except the sampler). The deal also includes two glasses of house cabernet, chardonnay or draft beer.

Whether you love the Sicilian luau pizza and Gammy's killer carrot cake, or JP's sausage and meatball pie and the zabaglione, you have two more Tuesdays to kick back, dine out and save.
BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse is also getting in on the act with the return of its Party for Two special. Available through Sept. 30 for $19.95, two diners can split any medium specialty pizza -- including the new portobello mushroom or gourmet five meat pizzas -- along with their choice of any two of the following: soup or small house salad, caesar or wedge salad. (Upgrade to a large pizza for $3 more.) Finish off the meal with a Pizookie for dessert.
For the same price, you can make it a gluten-free party with crouton-free salads, thin-crust pizza and chocolate chip cookie Pizookie, both of which are gluten free.
Add a movie to the outing for $15. The addition includes a pair of tickets good for any Regal Entertainment Group, which includes Edwards Cinema at The Marketplace. The tickets are good for any show (with an additional fee for 3D or IMAX, where applicable).
