The show brings to life the best-known cartoon characters from the Disney Junior channel and a few special guests from the classic Disney catalog to give attendees the perfect mix of old and new.

Kausha Campbell plays the Disney Junior princess Sofia the First. A dancer originally from Utah, Campbell has been touring with the show since it launched in July. She loves taking the stage every night and is happy to be part of such an engaging production.

"It's theatrical and musically driven dancing and acting all of the songs from the show. It draws the kids in because they know all of the music and everything."

The show follows Sofia through the first act as she searches for the perfect gift for the Friendship Festival. For Campbell, it's exciting to connect with the audience, young and old.

"The show is targeted for a younger audience because it is a Disney Junior show. But it's really fun for the whole family. You go with Sofia to school and you learn how to dance with her. Then we all present the gift for the Friendship Festival together."

While the audience travels with Sofia they are joined by special guests from the television show and from one of the very first Disney princesses, Cinderella.

The second act is also another Disney classic brought to life with a bit of an update.

Jake and The Neverland Pirates take over after Sofia's story has been told.

Much like the princess, Jake takes the audience on a search as well, but instead of looking for gifts, Jake and his cohorts are on the hunt for a volcano that erupts treasure.

Through their travels they are visited by classic characters from the annals of Disney. Peter Pan, Captain Hook and Mr. Smee are all part of the story.

With the familiar faces from Disney history pulling at the heartstrings of parents in the crowd and the new TV characters delighting the littlest attendees, Campbell hopes this show will be one to remember.

"I remember being a little girl, seeing those shows and being very happy. Now I am on the other side of the stage. I love being able to perform and dancing in this show is my favorite."
