While Jason Gore stole the spotlight with his win in the Oakley Southern California Open, a trio of local pros were having mixed results in the tournament.

Fessler, who played at Liberty High, BC and Fresno State and who has advanced to the Second Stage of PGA Qualifying at the end of this month, was equal 36th at 3-over-par 215 and earned $360.
Another local pro, Matt Picanso, was plus-7 for 36 holes and missed the cut by four shots. Picanso however, will join Fessler at the PGA Tour Second Stage Qualifying.
