Acoustic singer Patrick Park is coming to Bakersfield.

Park, who has written music for hit TV shows like "Grey's Anatomy" and "Dallas," will be playing at Metro Galleries at 6 p.m. Sunday.

Thursday, on "First Look with Scott Cox," Jeffrey R. Pickering, president and CEO of Kern Community Foundation, said he is excited to have another great talent at the gallery.

"A lot of musicians that pass by here always say Bakersfield has a vibe that makes them feel welcomed," Pickering said.

Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at the door or at www.patrickpark.net. Admission includes beer, wine and snacks.

Check out Thursday's Californian Eye Street section for more entertainment happening locally.
