ROB DAVIS has rejoined Coldwell Banker, Preferred Realtors at its central office on Westwind Drive. Davis is a buyers agent specialist with seven years of experience in the field. He is working on becoming a certified distress property expert.
DR. TUNG T. TRANG has joined the staff of Kern Medical Center and is now Bakersfield’s only head and neck oncologic surgeon, the hospital announced. He leads a multidisciplinary team of cancer specialists dedicated to treatment of patients with head and neck cancer. Trang trained at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, and stayed on to serve as the director of head and neck oncologic surgery at MetroHealth Medical Center before coming to Bakersfield.
ANKER FANOE has been appointed president of Rabobank N.A.’s South Central Valley Region. In his new position he is to oversee delivery of all bank services and strategic growth in Kern, Kings, Fresno and Tulare counties, including three branches in Bakersfield. Fanoe has 18 years of experience as a banker. He worked as vice president and market manager for relationship banking and investments for Washington Mutual. He served as region manager for business banking for Citibank in Northern California and Nevada, as well as business banking marketing manager for Bank of America in California, Oregon and Washington. He earned an economics degree at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
LES DENHERDER was named the Delta/PHCC Plumbing Contractor of the Year at the annual Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Association awards luncheon that took place recently in New Orleans. The award goes to the plumbing contractor deemed the best representative of the industry. DenHerder is president of Bakersfield-based HPS Mechanical Inc., which employs more than 240 people and provides new construction, pipeline, engineering and plumbing design services across Southern California.
BARBARA NATALIA has won Farmers Insurance Group’s highest award for district managers and agents for “outstanding overall performance.” Natalia, district manager for Farmers Insurance, is now a member of the company’s Presidents Council. Selection is based on customer service, sales production, overall professional competence and maintenance of high professional standards. The honor went to 146 individuals this year.
Saba Agency announced the addition of three new staff members: DEEN FOXX, CARLOS SALINAS and IAN PERRY.
Foxx, a Web designer and developer, previously worked as chief technical officer at a Web hosting company in Orange County. He is finalizing a bachelor’s degree in mathematics at Cal State Bakersfield.
Salinas has an extensive background in graphic design, and has designed trade show displays as well as print and Web as marketing director for a local mortgage company.
Perry worked with the company for many years before joining its staff. He has 22 years of experience in recognition apparel. Over the last 10 years, he fostered innovation in the DTG and embroidery industry.
