Put your pastel colored wardrobe away and bring out the bold, dark colors this fall.
Thursday on "First Look with Scott Cox,"Tracy Walker of H. Walker's Men's Clothing Co. said wearing darker and richer colors in the fall looks better and more appropriate than other choices.
Simulcast Host Scott Cox said he's shopped at H. Walker's for about 12 years and said employees really know what they are doing.
"If I'm going to a certain event all I do is walk into the store, tell them about the event and when I walk out with those clothes on that hanger, I know I'll be looking great," Cox said.
The assortment of colors for fall includes browns, blues and purples, among others. But you need to know what colors go with your complexion and hair color, Walker said.
With so many fashion trends in retail, Cox asked Walker what's appropriate to wear, especially when people want to wear everything.
"First of all, your pants have to fit correctly," Walker said. "It's not appealing to have saggy pants."
Along with fitted pants, Walker recommends men stock the following in their wardrobe: a pair of chino khakis, fitting jeans, a dark jacket, a quality white shirt, a blue shirt, a nice suit and some printed shirts.
"When you look good you're going to feel good and comfortable," Walker said.
