Changes to the comics page and TV guide happened to the Bakersfield Californian.
Tuesday on "First Look with Scott Cox," Richard Beene, president and CEO, talked about the changes with Louis Amestoy, director of audience development.
More puzzles and games were added but some comics were removed and replaced, Amestoy said.
The TV guide was also cut down.
Since the changes, Amestoy said he has received numerous calls a day of readers concerned with the changes.
Amestoy said sections were taken away but were replaced with newer content.
